as you all know, steven was taken back to the school in February. I got a message earlier today from GDB. They said he is in foster care with an instructor who shall remain anonymous on nights and weekends. He still has an apetite, and has received one round of chemo thus far. This week, he will have a follow-up appointment with the veterinarian. so ... there's hope he can recover.

thanks for sharing. Here's continuing positive vibes his way, and yours, too.

Jo that's awesome. I'm sure he's in the best of hands, and they'll do everything they can for him. It must be a weight off your mind too now, knowing that.

Thank you for those kind words. I called the school yesterday to check on the status of my application. I'm on the waiting list, and if a dog is available, I'll go in June for training. Yaaaaaaaay!

Aww, I hope he continues on the road to recovery!

That's good you might start training in June. I wish the guide dog schools were as quick as that in Scotland. But there is a new one beeing made this month infact it should be ready at the end of April.

I'm glad he's in good care. Yeah, it must be a huge load off of your mind now.

It is a weight off my mind, but I'm still grieving. I'll be going on a little shopping trip with a couple of friends soon enough, but i haven't really been in a store or at the mall since he left. I hate crying in front of people, and I'm not sure how i'll react if that happens ... still feels strange without him.
